Meet The Care Crew

     Josie‘s love for horses started at a young age. she had horses from a young age and started working professionally with thoroughbred race horses at 16. She was fortunate to be able to work with top tier trainers and horses. Working for these trainers taught her horsemanship, patience, and top notch horse care.
    In 2003 she started a 4 year apprenticeship to learn to shoe horses. It was also at this time that she was able to learn chiropractic care for horses. After the apprenticeship she continued to ride with other farriers to learn more about shoeing horses.
    Josie continued working with thoroughbreds while she branched out into other areas of the horse world. The experience that she has brought with her from the racing world has been invaluable with the many hoof problems that she has encountered.

     She has worked on all breeds of horses, large and small, and lets not forget about her donkey friends too. She absolutely loves mini donkeys.
    Recently Josie has gone to an equine dental program so that she can now float your horses teeth as well.
